Himalayan Hesed*

“You all are making a beautiful day who had lost their parents and giving a hope and lighting the way to go in the future. They all are very happy and thankful so much for your kindness and giving generously.”
The country of India sweeps northward from the Indian Ocean, stopping just short of the mighty Himalayan Mountain Range- gatekeeper to the massive Tibetan uplift.  Near the foot of these mighty mountains, nestled in a broad lowland of paddies lashed by the yearly monsoon the bright light of God’s love flashed into a terrible darkness of children orphaned by AIDS and hungry because of the coronavirus unleashed upon a poor and persecuted people.
Through our contacts in this part of the world, Asias Children was able to spill a drop of God’s kindness into the lives of these children by giving resources to caring adults to give a little extra food to those children.  The pictures speak for themselves:

*”Many biblical words such as mercycompassionlovegrace, and faithfulness relate to the Hebrew word hesed (חֶסֶד), but none of these completely summarize the concept. Hesed is not merely an emotion or feeling but involves action on behalf of someone who is in need. Hesed describes a sense of love and loyalty that inspires merciful and compassionate behavior toward another person.” (https://www.gotquestions.org/meaning-of-hesed.html)
