One thousand orphans live in villages along the Mula River in SE Asia. Covid related economic effects drove a subsistence economy into malnutrition. Asias Children works through existing churches in the region to supply food, masks and other aid to this distressed region. Asias Children is the only outside organization working in this region.
Some families need only a small amount of monthly food assistance to continue as a family (grandma families). Ten dollars per month is enough to add twice-a-week protein supplement to their diet.
One thousand eggs are bought for each distribution. Packets contain ten eggs, 15 packets of noodles, a small can of fish, one bottle of vegetable oil, one bag of salt, soap and shampoo.
